The Arden Theatre

Built in the 1970s Faversham's intimate theatre venue is named after Thomas Arden, a Faversham resident in the time of Henry VIII, who made himself very unpopular and was murdered by his wife’s lover – the subject of an Elizabethan play thought to be penned by Thomas Kyd.
