Poetry and spoken word not to be missed! Hollie McNish returns to Faversham with another dose of strong language and adult content ribbon wrapped in carefully and caringly sculpted poetry from her latest collection Slug, and more. She will be joined by fellow poets Michael Pedersen and Cecilia Knapp.
Michael Pedersen's new work Boy Friends is a poetic memoir about friendship, described by Stephen Fry as 'enchanting...astonishingly compelling...rare and to be treasured'.
Poet, playwright and novelist Cecilia Knapp, former Young Person's Laureate for London 2020–21, will read from her new collection Peach Pig. Cecilia is winner of the 2021 Ruth Rendell award, which honours her contribution to raising literacy levels in the UK, and is ambassador for the mental health charity CALM.
Doors 6.15pm. There will be a licensed bar at this venue.
