There are lots of events for children involving storytelling, entertainment, fun, meet-the-author book signings and crafts.

Much-loved author, poet and broadcaster Michael Rosen, author of more than 200 books for children and adults, asks what it means to play with a Dickens plot, as he did in 'Bah! Humbug!' and 'Unexpected Twist!' and considers Dickens's life when he was a child. He also reads some of his funniest poems and shares wisdom from his latest 'Book of Play'.
