Join cultural and political icon Will Self as he makes a welcome return to Faversham to talk to writer Lee Rourke about his just published memoir, 'Will', which opens up about his drug addiction, life as a young adult and his fictional trajectory – a funny, intense and anarchic journey into the mind of one of Britain’s most daring writers.
Author of twelve novels, and many collections of short fiction and non-fiction, Will Self is a prolific journalist and broadcaster, analysing just about everything that makes us tick. His many books include 'Great Apes', 'The Book of Dave' and his trilogy 'Umbrella', 'Shark' and 'Phone', the first of which was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize. He is a regular contributor to Radio 4 and national television.
