Stella Duffy

A tough tale of abuse, family secrets and survival set between the 1950s and the present day, award-winning writer Stella Duffy's latest novel follows three generations of women in a south-coast seaside town, fearlessly addressing the inter-generational impact of #MeToo and a woman's suicide. A wise, honest exploration of the effects of long-lasting trauma. Stella is in conversation with novelist Louisa Young.

Stella Duffy is an award-winning writer of seventeen novels, over seventy short stories and fourteen plays. She is a practising psychotherapist and qualified yoga teacher, running yoga-for-writing workshops.
