Poems For You

Poems For You

With its intimacy, idiosyncrasy and brevity, poetry is a form that can teeter on the knife-edge between public and private. What happens when we write poems for an audience of one? This workshop, run by poet Josephine Carter, invites you to explore 'confessional' and 'diaristic' modes of poetry with readings, discussions and an opportunity to write and share your work, delving into the ways poetry as a personal practice can kindle new understandings, bolster mental health, and create tremblingly personal archives of our experiences, identities and lives.
